L’éloquence de l’art dans la diplomatie

The theme is the expressiveness of art in diplomacy, or in other words: ‘L’éloquence de l’art dans la diplomatie’. The exhibition is a selection from the collection of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is a story in which the beauty of art and current events and stimulating themes go hand in hand.
For this show, Philippien Noordam, the curator of the collection of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, chose two “Tulip Piramids”
Of Driessens & van den Baar. These very delicate objects represent the wealth of the Dutch culture, obtained by ( in a lot of cases suspicious ) trade in the Golden Ages.
