Based in Nantes, France, we have been developing the project TEE – Trans European Express for several years. Initiated by the Bureau d’Art et de Recherche in Roubaix, TEE is a trans-European initiative that unfolds along major European railway routes. TEE seeks to foster a sustainable network between art organizations and artists working across Europe’s culturally dynamic regional capitals.
In previous years, the project has taken place in Germany, Switzerland, and France. This year, a new chapter will open in the Netherlands. We have been invited by artist Kamiel Verschuren, in collaboration with SKAR and NAC, to organize an exhibition at Studio C3 in Rotterdam.
The event will be held over the weekend of September 19–21.
The exhibition, Trans Europe Express Rotterdam, will bring together around twenty artists from the French and Swiss scenes, and we are also keen to collaborate with several Dutch artists. Our aim is to present small-scale works—sculptures, paintings, and photographs (no larger than one meter).
